The story begins when they find him living in Ponta Pora, Brazil. Danilo Silva always knew they would find him, and he was prepared. He wasn't prepared, however, for the physical torture that lay ahead.
Before I even began to read The Partner, just one of John Grisham's legal thrillers, I was intrigued. The cover art shows the shadow of someone fleeing. What, or who, are they running from? The Partner is obviously the most important character in the story, but who is it? Hint: the Partner is the key to how it all turns out in the end.
